Sangho Lee is a professor at the Department of Urban Planning and Engineering, Hanbat National University, Korea. He also has lead UCRC, Ubiquitous City Research Cluster, which initiates research on the future of city and city of future. His research focuses on ubiquitous city planning, design and its application; forecasting the futuristic society, planning the ubiquitous services and the mobile/built ubiquitous infrastructure, designing the ubiquitous spatial structure and land use, and management planning.
He worked at Samsung Group and is a member of Korean Presidential Committee on Balanced National Development Planning and Policy. He designed the philosophy, vision, and strategies of Korea Ubiquitous City and built Seoul Ubiquitous City Masterplan. He is the executive board members of Knowledge City World Summit, the International advisory board member of World Capital Institute, and International Jury of Barcelona Smart City Award.
